What's coming to MarBoba

Our public roadmap for 2026–2027. The single biggest theme is compliance — SOC 2 Type II lands mid-2027 and unlocks the Enterprise tier. AI, mobile, and platform polish ship alongside.

Quarterly timeframes are honest commitments, not marketing fluff — we ship in public and update this page whenever something moves. Exploring means "under consideration"; we'll firm it up before promising a date.

Compliance & Enterprise

The biggest theme of 2026–2027 — what enterprises require before they can adopt MarBoba.

    Independent attestation that controls are designed correctly. Auditor selected; readiness work underway.

    Twelve months of evidence that controls operated correctly. Gates the Enterprise tier — when this lands, Enterprise opens for sale.

    Before any agentic action that costs money or affects production, require an explicit operator approval. Full audit trail of who approved what, when, with what context.

  • Per-org bring-your-own-key AI

    Use your own Anthropic or OpenAI key so AI traffic runs through your billing relationship. Enterprise compliance teams will love this.

    Today: private templates within your org. Coming: a community marketplace where vetted templates are shared and rated. Submit your own.

  • Terraform provider — v1 GA
    In progress

    IaC-first teams can declare orgs, apps, projects, integrations, and policies in HCL. CRUD via the public /v1 REST surface. In beta now; v1 GA polishes drift detection + import flows.

    Cross-platform Go CLI for the same /v1 REST surface. In beta with 70% of commands covered; v1 GA fills in the long-tail and ships signed binaries.

  • Bulk org backup restore in the UI
    Exploring

    Already callable from the Recovery Console for sysadmins. Coming: a customer-facing version inside the org settings — let admins roll their own org back to a previous nightly snapshot without filing a support ticket.

  • Cross-region storage replication for paid plans
    Exploring

    User uploads automatically mirrored to a second region. Today: sysadmin-only via a setup script. Coming: opt-in toggle on Business + Enterprise.

    Real-time uptime, incident history, and maintenance windows at status.marboba.com. Required for the 99.9% SLA on Enterprise.
